Olivarez Madruga participated in the 7th annual Justice Jog held on Sunday, September 14. In this, the Firm’s first year of participation, Olivarez Madruga assembled a twelve-member team to come out and run for a great cause! Justice Jog is a 5K fundraising event hosted by the Greater Los Angeles Chapter Association of Legal Administrators (GLA ALA), benefitting Court Appointed Special Advocates of Los Angeles (“CASA”). CASA of Los Angeles is a nonprofit organization which “actively recruits, screens and trains volunteers to advocate on behalf of foster children.” In 2013, Justice Jog raised $94,000 to support the programs of CASA of Los Angeles. Each year CASA assists over 6,000 abused and neglected children in need of a volunteer in L.A.
