Water Law Attorney
Law office serving public agency clients seeks attorney with a minimum of five years’ experience in water or construction law for both transactional and litigation duties. Legal experience should include the areas of land use and zoning, including the California Environmental Quality Act, municipal code compliance and enforcement, conflict of interest and ethics, public bidding, the Brown Act and Public Records Act, and Proposition 218.
Attorney shall draft and review resolutions, ordinances, contracts and other transactional documents, perform legal research on a range of public law topics, and prepare legal memoranda advising clients. Salary and benefits will be competitive and commensurate with level of experience and demonstrated accomplishments. The ideal candidate will have the choice to make one of our three offices (Westlake Village, Downtown Los Angeles, or El Monte) their home-based office.
