Brent J. Lehman is a Senior Associate with Olivarez Madruga Lemieux O’Neill. His clients primarily include municipal entities, such as cities, and state agencies, special districts and local school districts. Mr. Lehman works closely with city councils and school boards to achieve positive results for the entity and for the community.
Mr. Lehman is a seasoned litigator with experience defending cities, special districts, and school districts. Mr. Lehman has been approved as lead trial counsel in state court for the City of Ridgecrest and the Eastern Municipal Water District in cases alleging traumatic brain injury, sexual harassment, and breach of contract. Mr. Lehman recently served as lead trial counsel in a traumatic brain injury case, successfully defending the entity against the brain injury claim and saving the defendant millions of dollars in alleged damages. Mr. Lehman’s current representation includes defending public entities against allegations of traumatic brain injury, civil rights violations, employment discrimination allegations, and in general personal injury matters. Further, Mr. Lehman has handled appeals to the Second District of the California Court of Appeal. Mr. Lehman has experience litigating allegation of police misconduct in Federal Court.
Mr. Lehman has published articles related to bullying and cyberbullying. He is committed to helping districts and administrators navigate their supervisory and educational responsibilities in an ever-changing digital world.
