The firm is pleased to congratulate founding and managing partner Rick R. Olivarez on his inclusion in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Leaders of Influence: Minority Attorneys” list for 2023. This is Rick’s second consecutive inclusion on the prestigious list. This year’s issue recognizes superb minority attorneys in the LA region, listing insights and information about their careers, practice, and the success they have achieved. The standout attorneys honored in the issue are considered to be particularly impactful on the legal scene while serving as trusted advisors.
The issue’s profile of Rick highlights his decision to establish his own firm, as well as his extensive experience providing essential legal services to municipal, education, and public agency clients. Rick’s selection to the list was also predicated on his deep involvement in the community, including his position on the Educational Fund Board of the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO). The NALEO Board was founded by his grandfather, late Congressman Edward R. Roybal, whose legacy lives on in the work accomplished by Rick’s mother, Former Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard, during her 30 years in Congress.
