open close Special Education Attorney

OMLO is seeking a Special Education lawyer well-versed in Special Education and Student Services for school districts. Must have experience attending IEP meetings on behalf of clients, discipline law and experience with due process complaints. Candidates must possess excellent research, writing, organizational, and communication skills. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work both cooperatively with others and independently, as circumstances demand, and must show a strong ability to take initiative, problem solve, and follow through on projects. This is a client-facing role that will involve a lot of client interaction.

The Salary for this position will range between $120k-$200k.  Salary and benefits commensurate with level of experience and demonstrated accomplishments.

OMLO seeks mid-level (5-10 year) public law litigator. Duties will include working closely with public agency clients, reviewing and drafting contracts in all areas, handling daily municipal law questions, assisting with drafting council meeting agendas and opinion memoranda. Attorney will work in a fast paced, but exciting environment. Must have excellent research and writing skills, organizational skills, communication skills and knowledge of Brown Act. Prior experience in employment and civil rights matters a plus.

The Salary for this position will range between $125k-$150k. Salary and benefits commensurate with level of experience and demonstrated accomplishments.

OMLO is seeking a senior attorney with 8-10 years of public agency labor and employment experience to join our firm. Experience with public sector is a plus.
