OMLO is seeking a Senior/Partner level attorney to oversee our education law practice. Experience dealing with public school personnel issues, layoffs, negotiations and general education law a plus. The position requires the ability to deal with Board Members, and operate as a general legal counsel. Strong communication and leadership skills necessary.
The Salary for this position will range between $175k-$225k. The actual salary will be commensurate with the number of years of practice and relevant experience on the skillset sought. The firm also offers a year-end hours bonus for attorneys that make their hours and demonstrate exceptional performance throughout the year. OMLO is seeking a senior attorney with 8-10 years of public agency experience to join our firm.
Excellent academic credentials as well as strong research, writing, organizational, communication and analytical skills are required. The firm offers great benefits, a nice work environment, and has a growing labor and employment group, we are eager to add exceptional attorneys to our team!
The Salary for this position will range between $160k-$200k. Salary and benefits commensurate with level of experience and demonstrated accomplishments.

OMLO seeks a mid-level (5-10 year) public law litigator. Duties will include working closely with public agency clients, reviewing and drafting contracts in all areas, handling daily municipal law questions, assisting with drafting council meeting agendas and opinion memoranda. Attorney will work in a fast paced, but exciting environment. Must have excellent research and writing skills, organizational skills, communication skills and knowledge of Brown Act. Prior experience in employment and civil rights matters a plus.
The Salary for this position will range between $125k-$150k. Salary and benefits commensurate with level of experience and demonstrated accomplishments.
