Joanna Burstedt

Professional Experience

Joanna Burstedt is an Associate with Olivarez Madruga Law Organization, LLP, serving as part of the Municipal Law Practice Group.

Prior to joining OMLO, Ms. Burstedt specialized in labor and employment law, representing clients in litigation involving wage-and-hour disputes, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.

While in law school, Ms. Burstedt volunteered with several community and campus free legal clinics, including the Legal Aid Society of San Diego’s Consumer Protection Team and Conservatorship Clinic, and the University of San Diego School of Law’s Worker’s Rights Legal Clinic and Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic.
