Professional Experience

Lisa Roybal-Elliott is Of Counsel to Olivarez Madruga Law Organization, handling litigation matters. Ms. Elliott has been a prosecutor in California and Washington, and represents police officers in all areas of use of force. She is currently the city attorney in Roy, WA and sits in the Roybal Foundation Board of Directors.

While serving in the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, Ms. Elliott’s assignments included work in the Housing and Community Relations Unit and the City’s Nuisance Abatement Program where she initiated abatement proceedings on properties involving high incidents of narcotics activity before becoming a trial attorney in the Office’s Criminal Division.
