Owen Lin is an Associate at Olivarez Madruga Law Organization, LLP and is part of the Litigation Practice Group.
Owen began his legal career in employment and business litigation on the island of Saipan during the COVID period, where he worked on the defense of a casino that, at the time, was reported to have one of the highest VIP gaming volumes in the world.
After returning to California, Owen spent significant time at a Plaintiff side law firm handling FEHA, PAGA, and several personal injury matters, which gave him insight into Plaintiff strategy and Plaintiff’s valuation of cases. One of the cases he worked on resulted in a top settlement in Los Angeles County in 2024.
Owen then further honed his skills with the Superior Court, first in the personal injury hub and then at the Burbank courthouse under Judge Lee S. Arian. There, he drafted thousands of tentative rulings and hundreds of decisions on motions for summary judgment, gaining valuable insight into the various factors that go into the judicial decision making process.
Understanding both Plaintiff strategy and how the Court evaluates matters, Owen brings a well rounded perspective that allows him to assess cases from multiple angles and develop practical, effective litigation strategies.
