Kristopher Daams is an Associate with Olivarez Madruga Law Organization LLP as a part of the firm’s municipal law practice group. Kris assists local agencies with various municipal law issues such as Public Records Act requests, drafting of resolutions and ordinances, and review of city agreements and contracts.
Before joining OMLO, his civil litigation practice focused on matters ranging from personal injury and business litigation to police liability and civil rights, with appellate matters in state and federal court. Prior litigation experience also includes public entity defense in wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury matters.
While in law school, Kris clerked for the nuisance abatement division in the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. His pre-law career includes working on multiple political campaigns, as a State Senate aide, and as a news reporter covering city and county government.
