Professional Experience

Yasmine Hussein is Of Counsel to Olivarez Madruga Law Organization, LLP serving as part of the Litigation Law practice group. She has experience representing individual and corporate clients in all aspects of litigation through trial in the areas of personal injury, general liability, premises liability, and transportation.

Prior to joining OMLO, Yasmine obtained her bachelor’s degree in Economics in Canada from the University of Northern British Columbia.  She earned her law degree from the University of La Verne College of Law. While in law school, Yasmine interned at the California Court of Appeal under the Honorable Jeffrey King (Ret.) and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Gang Unit.

Yasmine is fluent in both Arabic and English and has previously served as an adjunct torts professor at the University of La Verne College of Law.

  • Jontian Jackson v. Roy Brothers Drilling, Inc., Los Angeles County Superior Court Case No. 19STCV23916. Obtained summary judgment for subcontractor in case alleging premises liability and personal injuries.
  • January Bottoms v. Adrianna Villa, et al., Kern County Superior Court Case No. BCV-19-101012. Obtained summary judgment for landlord/property owner after allegations of a tenant’s dog biting a neighbor.
  • Thambiah Sundaram, DDS dba SNS Biosystems, Inc. v. The Towbes Group, Inc., et al., Santa Barbara County Superior Court Case No. 148078. Obtained summary judgment for corporate and construction entities against substantial property damage allegations related to new construction activity.
