Paul A. Aguilar is an Associate with Olivarez Madruga Lemieux O’Neill, LLP, serving as part of the firm’s litigation practice group. Mr. Aguilar advises and represents clients in state and federal court trials, administrative hearings and appeals. He also assists in general legal and governance matters, including Public Records Act requests.
Prior to joining Olivarez Madruga Lemieux O’Neill, LLP, Mr. Aguilar was an Assistant General Counsel for the Los Angeles Unified School District, where his practice focused exclusively on defending the school district and its employees in civil tort litigation. Mr. Aguilar also previously worked in private practice where he represented various public entities, including law enforcement agencies, in labor and employment and tort litigation.
Mr. Aguilar is on the board of the United Latinx Fund (ULF) and the Angelino Heights Historic Preservation Overlay Zone (HPOZ) of the City of Los Angeles. Mr. Aguilar is a former trustee of the Mexican American Bar Association (MABA).
